Handwoven from over 3,000 Miyuki Delica seed beads in a crystal constellation pattern, this three-dimensional star ornament is worked entirely in even count peyote stitch — one bead at a time, by hand. Both sides are fully finished with identical patterning, making it as beautiful from behind as from the front.
This was my very first beaded star and I accidentally used 24k gold beads! It turned out to be a happy accident. Fifty faceted crystals are set throughout the body and along the spine of each point, a detail so painstaking I never did it again. An open star cutout at the center lets light pass through in a way none of the other stars do.
At 3 inches standing, this is the smallest and most intimate piece in the collection, and the most labor intensive per inch. This is not a kit or a manufactured piece; it is handmade in Minnesota by an exhibiting artist with over 30 years of practice.
A custom 2026 charm and velvet ribbon complete the piece.
Limited edition. Pattern by Strictly Beading.
