Red creek jasper — also called cherry creek jasper — is a stone with a lot going on. Pink, rust, cream, and dark veining all moving through the same surface. The bezel is matte black and bronze, chosen to ground the stone without competing with it.
The ram's head sits atop an apache gold stone at the crown of the piece, looking down over bead "talons" along the lower edge. The whole composition reads as a creature — something between heraldic and feral. Over 10 hours of hand-stitching to get there.
